When we think of garnets, maybe the first connection is a royal plum purple of almandine garnets or the fiery red of pyrope garnets. Maybe a combo orangish of hessonite garnets? But this is the fantastic nature of the earth: garnets come in 15 different colors, and this one is my favorite. This olive, bright verdant stone is a grossular green garnet. Not as pushy as peridot, more feisty than tourmaline. Just wonderful.
