Hearts on fire. 

Where the light shines can change perspective in just an instant. This is iris agate. This is a microcrystalline quartz, the bands forming densely and finely enough to create a spectrum refraction when the light shines through. It is wonderful. 

These were tricky to try to get to photograph! The rainbows can be subtle and take a second to find. They are easiest to observe in front of a bright direct light source (flashlight on phone).
